L.G.R FOR DVF | RAFFAELLO 6026

The protagonist of the Capsule Collection is Raffaello, a model worn by Diane herself, presented in three new combinations of acetate and lenses, designed together by Luca Gnecchi Ruscone and Diane von Furstenberg. Each model of the collaboration capsule is made in an exclusive pattern of tortoiseshell cellulose acetate combined with gradient photochromic Barberini tempered mineral glass lenses.

“I have collected sunglasses since I was 13 years old, and really appreciate the quality and design of L.G.R. When its founder, Luca Gnecchi Ruscone, offered to honor me with a capsule collaboration for the 50th anniversary of my Wrap Dress I accepted with joy” Diane Von Furstenberg

“I have profound admiration for Diane, and the prospect of collaborating with her has always been a dream of mine. The celebration of the Wrap Dress provided us with an ideal moment to come together and bring something extraordinary to life. The collaboration flowed seamlessly due to our shared appreciation for Italian artistry and a style ethos that blends past influences with forward-thinking designs” Luca Gnecchi Ruscone

The sunglasses are housed in a chic Black Saffiano Leather case, entirely handmade in Florence by skilled artisans, featuring an adjustable strap that can be worn over the shoulder or crossbody. The case’s button closure also suits it perfectly for holding a smartphone. The customized packaging includes a microfiber pouch, a cleaning cloth, and a personalized box, all showcasing DVF’s 50th-anniversary crossword print as a distinctive element..
