Inspired by the fine lines and technical attention to detail of Japanese tattoo art – sharing similar creative practices of minimalist structure and colouring . The GR02 is a minimally constructed frame, punctuated with slick design features and understated character.
Paying homage to Mr Cutler’s original technical sketches, only ever drawn by hand in blue ink, this collection’s Colour Studio editon is a deeply pigmented midnight blue aptly named Ink. The Colour Studio editions are crafted from a single run of specially selected acetate which ties in with that particular collection.

The 1390 is ‘80’s-inspired through and through. This rounded acetate frame nods to both our archived 0197 – originally made in 1987 – and a certain Material Girl’s visit to our Knightsbridge store in 1989. apturing the spirit of London’s eccentric street fashion of that time, the 1390 feels distinctly confident in its design. If you’re also looking to pay homage to an iconoclastic pop giant, your best bet would be the Papa Don’t Peach or Isla Bonita Blue colourways.
