Tijdens de toonaangevende beurs voor de optische industrie SILMO in Parijs werd de nieuwe en eerste collectie van MiN New York Eyewear geïntroduceerd. Wij zaten er bovenop en zijn nu de eerste zaak in Nederland die dit merk gaan voeren. Voor bckspace| is MiN een prachtige aanvulling op de bestaande merkencollectie in onze boutique.
MiN New York werd in 1999 opgericht door Chad Murawczyk. Zijn inmiddels befaamde Sensory Atelier is gelegen aan de historische Crosby Street in SoHo New York City. MiN New York’s haute parfumerie & apothecary wordt geroemd als een van de beste onafhankelijke parfumerieën ter wereld.

De filosofie van de oprichter is simpel: “De wereld heeft niet méér producten nodig, de wereld heeft bétere producten nodig. Een goed geleefd leven is een aaneenschakeling van goed geleefde momenten. Mijn passie is het creëren van de best mogelijke producten voor wie dat weet te waarderen”. En dat resulteert dan in exclusieve parfums en vanaf nu dus ook in eyewear die er toe doet.
De eigen Scent Stories van MiN New York bevatten het DNA waarmee de zonnebrillen en optische monturen gecreëerd worden. Achter ieder frame zit zo een uniek verhaal. Want elk exemplaar is met de hand vervaardigd, met grote precisie en met de mooiste materialen.

During the Silmo optical Fair, the new MiN New York Eyewear collection was introduced to the world. For bckspace|eyewear a final completion to the brands collection we already have in our boutique.
MiN New York is a Sensory Atelier that uses the senses as vehicles to surface authentic experiences. We believe in the art of craft as magic, design without compromise, and that a better product created with deliberate intention will enrich one’s life.
As the first ever convergence of niche fragrance with luxury eyewear, MiN New York utilized its SCENT STORIES fragrances as the DNA for the creation of corresponding sunglass and optical frames. Behind every frame is a unique story that methodically informed each decision during the design process, to successfully translate olfactory art into a physical object. Each Scent Story was created to shed light on the human experience; and now, through the personal lenses we have created, we reveal to ourselves what was previously unknown.
Each pair is hand-crafted of the finest materials, and is made of meticulously hewn components. Our artisans translate practiced skill into each and every facet of our frames. As a result, our design and production philosophy mirrors the diligent thoughtfulness in the creation of our Scent Stories. Our resulting eyewear epitomizes the beautiful confluence of the premier level of artisan eyewear production capabilities in Italy; where decades of craftsmanship meets technological innovation. What culminates is eyewear of the absolute highest standard.
