Nationale oogmeetweken 2016

[:nl]Van 1 oktober tot en met 9 november zijn de nationale oogmeetweken. Dit houdt in dat er extra aandacht is voor het meten van de ogen. 57% van de mensen draagt een bril, waar jij wellicht bij hoort! Om het jaar is het belangrijk om naar de gezondheid en de status van je ogen te kijken. Bij een meting wordt niet alleen gekeken of je zicht nog wel 100% is, maar ook naar de oogdruk en de gezondheid van het oog. Op die manier kunnen problemen al snel getackled worden en zorg je ervoor dat je energiek in je lichaam ziet. Immers, wie alles goed kan zien hoeft de ogen minder hard aan het werk te zetten.

Om de oogmeting in het zonnetje te zetten, geven we bij elke aangekochte bril het boek Lev weg. Evgeniy Levchenko (1978) groeide op in de Donetsk-regio (destijds Sovjet-Unie, later Oekraïne). Als tiener bezocht hij een Sovjet-eliteschool voor getalenteerde sporters. Op zestienjarige leeftijd tekende hij een contract bij CSKA Moskou. Een Nederlandse handelaar in voetballers (en aardappelen) haalde hem naar Vitesse, waar zijn profcarrière begon. Daarna speelde hij onder meer bij FC Groningen, Cambuur, Sparta en Willem II. Tevens kwam hij achtmaal uit voor het Oekraïens nationale elftal. Samen met Iris Koppe kijkt Evgeniy Levchenko terug op een avontuurlijk leven in oost en west.

Evgeniy Levchenko (1978) grew up in the in the Donetsk region (then Soviet Union and later Ukraine). As a teenager, he visited a Soviet elite school for talented athletes. At sixteen, he signed a contract with CSKA Moscow. A Dutch trader in football (and potatoes) persuaded him to Vitesse, where he began his professional career. After that he played for FC Groningen, Cambuur, Sparta and Willem II. He also came out eight times for the Ukrainian national team.
